Fall is Coming

Because we live in Chelsea, I am sometimes made to go to art galleries.

Not very often though. Anyway this one was better than usual because it had pictures of Africa. This is a picture of a lion.

Something bad has happened to this lion. I am worried what it is.

In this picture a bird is on a stick in a dry place. Soon after this we left the gallery.

Then Knutty came over.

I expect you like to see pictures of dogs that I know. You have seen Mona before. She is very shy but she likes me.

This is her with blue speckles on her tongue. This is from the Hipstamatic filter. It is not a disease.

Can you guess who this is?

It is Donna that is a new puppy. This is her with Olive. They are friends.

Haha! Guess why we are sitting in a row.

I hope you have a good weekend.

love

from

Buster

  1. It was good to see some happy doggies again!
Here in Europe we fight a desperate combat as all the
dogs get killed in Southeastern Europe in a very brutal manner.
We are all very distressed and sign many petitions and try to
investigate how to save as many dogs as possible.
This can be done worldwide though to stop an horrendous massacre!
Wishing you all a great weekend!

    1. The plight of homeless dogs is really distressing. We have the same problem in some areas of the US like Detroit. This is why spaying neutering should be done whenever possible.
Also adopting super pups! no need ever to get one from a shop!

  2. I adore your outings and your friends Buster, and my aren't you the refined gentleman-dog, Art Galleries no less.
Do you know Buster that where I live you wouldn't be allowed in ANYWHERE let alone an art gallery!
You would not even be allowed off your lead at the beach to play with the other dogs and make friends, true! No wonder all of us dog-people would like to move to NYC!!

    1. Ooops, I told a fib - apparently there are beaches and some 'special' dog designated parks where you would be allowed off the lead.

    2. On the leash in the city -except in Central Park before 9am.
Only allowed in non-food selling shops - but allowed in clothing stores.
Yup we left the gallery before we got thrown out!

  3. So glad to see and hear from you again, Buster. Was the reason you left the gallery because you put your feet/hands(?) on the wall? You have such charming friends. I have signed many petitions on behalf of dogs who are abused, killed, and even eaten, in other countries. I can't imagine most humans want this to happen, but nothing is done by most people. Sad. You are such a wonderful example of how a dog who was homeless in the past can become such a loving and loved companion.

    1. Buster was adopted as a young pup ( about 4 months).
There are lots of super dogs available all over.
Adoption is the way to go!

I think Donna is very cute.

  5. Buster, thank you for reminding me that the art season really is open. Too bad galleries don't have real treats, although some galleries have some exhibits that are sort of like treats to see.

I like all the photos of you and your pals. That blue tongue thing is kind of strange. Olive and her look alike are an amazing pair. But Buster, you are the most amazing of all!

    Best wishes.

  6. "soon after this we left the gallery" hahahah I think that might have been a good idea.
I love your friends, Mona is very sweet even if she is shy and I adore Olive. But I still love you the best. Well after my Square Ones.

  7. Buster must be part French...
He never puts on an ounce.
Bet he doesn't nibble on the snacks at galerie openings or between meals.
    Does he do coaching?
