What We Do at the Park when We are Not Running

This is me saying hello to Harley.

 And Daisy too.

She is a puppy.

Mum says, "Why aren't you people running around?"

Then Harley pretended to bite Daisy. Then we did run around for a bit.

 Scout was there too.

Biggie and Knut sat around mostly.

This is a  portrait of a dog from an exhibition.
Maybe one day Dad will paint me.

(Buster does not know about this...)
I have been asked to mention Bekka, a  rescue puppy who survived a fall from a 6th floor window the block over from where we live.
Link here.I personally know the people who took her to the vet.

The Rest of my Week

The other day, before it got cold again, Scout came to the park.

She is pretty big, but she is sometimes shy when there are lots of dogs.
She mostly likes me.

There was a very little puppy that liked Scout a lot and Scout was not scared of it.

Their sizes are quite different.

This is me at home with a fabric ball I am 'altering'.

It snowed again, and Mum was fed up, but we went to the park anyway, and there was no one there.

Then Hodges turned up. He ate some snow.

That is about all that is going on around here lately.
Have a good weekend

My Check-Up.

At first I was a bit worried.

This is Dr. Jaclyn feeling my tummy. Her helper is holding me to keep me safe.

Now I am getting the hang of it. Dr. Jaclyn said if everyone was as good
as me her job would be very easy. She kissed me.

This is me being noble and the perfect patient.
I will add Dr. Jaclyn to my list next to Mum and Darcy.

On the way home, the mean cat in the florist looked at me.
She is not interested how perfect I am. So I have to stop being puffed up.

I hope you are well.

My Haircut

I was really pretty fuzzy.

This is me looking as if I need a haircut.

This is me after my haircut.
Adam said I looked as if I had had a 'bob'.....

That is a haircut like Buster Brown.
Oh well! I cannot think why my haircut took four hours.

This is Sid who has never had his hair cut in his life.
He was at the park this morning.

In this picture there is me and the ghost of me. I am holding the ball Nancy gave me at the park.

This is Mattie who just got adopted in London. He is part corgi and part sheltie.
Claudia says he looks as if he could be naughty.

That is all for now.

Things Dogs Do: I am Philosophical and a Little Sad

*

Sometimes I wish for a life full of adventure and excitement.
In the olden days dogs had important things to do.

Nowadays some of us just hang around waiting for something to happen.
If I lived on a farm it would be different.

Me and Henry and Enzo would be looking after sheep and chasing chickens.

We would have rabbits to eat not just tennis balls.

Me and Knutty would be tearing a wildebeest apart not just a robe-tie.

But it was quite fun anyway.

I got it, and then I said Knut could go home, and he said he did not want it anyway.
Maybe tomorrow something more exciting will happen. I will let you know if it does.

ps. I heard that someone said that "Imitation is the sincerest from of flattery." So I am very flattered that a young person helped her dog write a story just like me. It is good. You can read it here if you want.

Fatty Season is Upon Us

*

Maybe spring is coming. When we went out there was a bird going tweet, tweet, tweet.
I do not know what kind of bird it was.

Later I looked up and saw.......

Evil Fatty with a nut in her mouth.

This is evil Fatty looking at me with her beady eyes.
The bad thing is that there are a lot of her and they are all running around.

This is me at home making a plan to catch her and her evil cronies.
I will let you know when I have finished my plan.

I hope you have a good weekend.

Haircuts, Music and Magic

Lots of dogs have had their hair cut

 Milo has.

So has Hodges. This is because spring is coming. I am still very fuzzy.

When I went over to Jasper's house, he played the piano for me.
This is mostly because the rawhide chews were on top of it.

When Knutty came over and we sat on the magic carpet, it did not take off.
Maybe it will next time.

I hope you had a good weekend.

ps. If you like cats,  there are lots of pictures of cats here.
Mum took them on her holidays. She thinks they are nice but we will not get one around here
because it would not get to play outside like cats like to do.
They do not go on leashes like dogs. Sometimes cats are mean to me.

My Family Are Back

They came home at last

and bought me a rug to sit on but I am not allowed to chew it up like I did the last one.

This is a picture of a monkey they saw.
I have not seen a monkey even if I look like one when I stand up.

Where they went lots of dogs just hang around. This one is near the fish market.
Maybe he is my cousin.

It is sunny there so the cats lie around too.

I have never seen a bird in a cage only ones that fly around.

This is a donkey that has to wait for his master.
Anyway, we are back to normal and Knutty came over yesterday.

I hope you are well.
